After visiting Freedomss and Runglao in Sattahip so much that it started to get boring with the same thing all the time. So I searched for a nightclub in Sattahip and found Boom pub. It said they open at 9pm and that 3 LEO COST 199 baht before 11pm. Perfect I thought and was there at 9pm. The staff who didn't speak English showed on the phone that it was closed, they open at 9.30pm ok I thought, why do they advertise that they open at 9pm then? but I wanted to give it a chance anyway. So I went for a walk and was back at 9.50pm. When I arrived there was no staff outside, no guards at all, and inside the loose fluorescent lights up the premises sim was empty apart from the entire staff who were sitting and eating together. Then I got tired and went to Runglao which I know is open and is service oriented, cares about the guests and can speak English. If Boom pub staff are not more interested in getting new guests then they would benefit more from closing down completely. Especially as they close at 01.00 so you have 3.5 hours to eat and drink. But maybe you can't ask a farmer pub to be service-oriented. It's only the farmers around the pub who come there. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
