Can't argue with or add to what JP Canada is saying here. This is the same restaurannt as Ngu Meng Heng shown next to it on Google Maps. Check my glowing review there!

Located directly behind the TakuaPa Fresh Market is this enormous restaurant located directly on the river. The place has seating for hundreds (as I assume they do large groups). The menu here is as huge as the restaurant with literally pages of items to choose from spanning the full gambit of Thai Cuisine I am sure. Although at first I was intimidated by the large menu "thinking how can you do a good job when you have 200 items on your menu?" Well surprisingly they can.I came here with some Thai locals that gave the restaurant "two big Thumbs Up" and stated we would love the food. Well I have to admit everything I have ever eaten here has been nothing short of fantastic. The restaurant by local Thai standards seems a little bit pricey for local Thai people however the quality and portion sizes were great and as a foreigner couldn't get over how cheap it all seemed. Four people - 8 dishes - loads of beer 1300 THB.This place also has absolutely 'killer' ice cream desserts and many flavors to enjoy. Ate at this place and brought friends here many times ...good every single time!
