The food was delicious - especially the coconut soup, the place was beautiful!! We talked with the staff and they were very friendly. If you wait for your train from Surat Thani it’s a perfect place to chill before.

Lovely relaxing bar/restaurant right by the river with beautiful views. Very calm setting and the perfect place to kill time before waiting for the train. The food is really good, a whole list of vegetarian options too. A real gem of a place!

My family and I were stopping overnight on our way to Hua Hin. We looked all over town and found Baan Rim Nam, for dinner. We were welcomed at the door with the friendly servers/staff. The weather was perfect and being on the river with a beautiful view gave it an extra special touch. The staff were very attentive and polite. The food was great, we ordered many dishes (pad kee maow, fried rice, pork laab, fried chicken, French fries, crispy pork belly, and drinks). All of it was delicious, we ate it all and I most appreciated their willingness to accommodate me. I have a wheat allergy, and they were able to help make sure that I had dishes without gluten (pork laab, special chicken dish, fried rice). We recommend this restaurant for anyone in town. Service: 5
