Discovered Baba Mansion on Instagram and as a Malaysian, I knew I had to check it out—especially as someone who loves Peranakan culture and food. From the moment I arrived, the experience was incredible. The staff were extremely attentive and even brought me around the mansion, explaining every detail—from the dishes to the plate settings and how each one is thoughtfully matched to the different rooms for a fine dining experience. You can really feel the storytelling behind everything they do. I didn’t get the chance to try the fine dining yet, but I definitely will next time. I ordered their regular dishes and can confidently say the food is truly authentic Peranakan—felt just like home. They also offer traditional outfits for sale and rent, which adds such a fun cultural touch to the whole experience. A beautiful blend of food, culture, and history. Highly recommend! Beautiful Peranakan-style restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The place is charming and well decorated, and the food was absolutely delicious. Great flavors and presentation.
