We had such a memorable experience at Babu’s Indian Hot Restaurant Samui. On our first visit, we enjoyed the lamb jalfrezi with naan and pilaf rice, which was already excellent. When we learned that the people preparing the food were originally from Nepal, we asked whether they also served momos. They explained that momos were not on the menu because making them properly takes quite a lot of time and effort. They then offered to make them specially for us. We immediately said yes and asked whether it would be possible to have them the following day. When we returned, they had prepared three portions for our family. The momos were fantastic, and it was clear how much care and attention had gone into making them. We also tried the Rogan Josh, which was equally delicious. The food was excellent! And what made the experience perfect was the kindness, hospitality and effort of the people at Babu’s. They made us feel genuinely welcome and gave our family a dining experience we will remember.
