Upstairs of Baby Crosta is a private area where pizza themed omakasen is served. Two tables, total 8 people setting. Creative pizza omakase, this is the second year we came back. Unfortunately, the perfect evening was ruined after we learned how much our family paid for one bottle of red wine. There is no wine menu, or we weren’t given one. As our family is treating, we specifically asked for a reasonably priced bottle. The hostess presented three options: two Burgundies grand cru’s and one Italian red. We chose the Italian, Stella Di Campalto 2015, which currently retails at USD 370. To our astonishment, this red wine was billed at USD 2,880 plus tax (USD 3,168). By price or by makeup, this is not reasonable, and contradictory to our request. Five stars for food, one star for price and customer consideration. Pizza omakase -USD 250 per person. Wine markup 8x. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
