The egg tart here is nothing short of extraordinary, no questions asked. It is executed to absolute perfection, making it an instant standout. I will absolutely be returning for a sit-down visit, and it has officially become a rule that I must buy at least one whenever I find myself anywhere near the area. I ordered 12 egg tarts hoping to share them with friends and neighbours, but the quality was so disappointing that they may now go to waste. Given Bakehouse's reputation, I expected the egg tarts to be fresh, flaky, and crispy. Instead, they appeared to have been left at room temperature for too long, resulting in a soft and soggy texture with none of the signature crunch. By far the worst Bakehouse experience I've had was at the Causeway Bay store. Despite the long queue outside, there seemed to be many unsold egg tarts sitting out for an extended period. This experience was extremely disappointing and not the standard I have come to expect from Bakehouse. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
