The newly opened two-story Bakso Flagship Store is definitely a must go place when you are in Sai Kung. It has a vibrant surfing theme, and serves great Indonesian food. To start with, we ordered this shrimp crackers. It would taste even better if it’s warm or hot. The crackers was crunchy, and chili powder on top really did work its magic in making the crackers rather spicy. Do not miss out the sauce! It tasted so good and topped up the flavor of the whole dish!And of course, we tried out the signature beef balls noodles. First thing first, the broth was so delicious! And the noodles tasted so good soaking the broth. The beef balls were great and did live up to their fame. They were handmade with fresh beef! Nom Nom! The crispy bits were definitely attractive to me by adding textures to the bowl.As for the Chicken Skewers, not bad indeed. Chicken was tender and meaty. The peanut sauce and deep fried garlic bits were great, but I was expecting more satay for chicken skewers though.We also got this snack platter to share so that we could try out more food. The spring rolls and fries were ordinary, but the fish cakes in the middle and the chicken wrapped in leaves were awesome! If you have a bit of tummy space to fill, you could order them to try.Coffee is always nice with condensed milk, if you can forget about the calories for a moment.
