Our stay at Balibar in Nong Thale was nothing short of exceptional — a perfect blend of warm hospitality, incredible food, and breathtaking natural beauty. First and foremost, a huge thank you to the host for being so welcoming and thoughtful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated how attentive and accommodating he was, especially regarding my wife’s vegetarian preferences. It’s rare to find such genuine care — from ensuring suitable meal options to even offering complimentary drinks with such grace. His hospitality made us feel not just like guests, but genuinely looked after. A very special mention to Sky, the head chef — absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond to prepare delicious vegetarian meals for my wife, and every single dish was crafted with care and expertise. Her knowledge of food, her warm smile, and the effort she puts into every meal truly stand out. And for me, the fish cakes were a solid 10/10 — easily one of the best I’ve had. Anyone staying here must try her food at least once. And then there’s Steve — an absolute star. From the very moment we arrived until the day we left, he ensured we had the most comfortable and seamless experience. His attentiveness is unmatched — it genuinely felt like he was always there whenever needed, without us even having to ask. The thoughtful gesture of complimentary ice creams at the end was the perfect touch to an already amazing stay. Lastly, the property itself is simply stunning. If you’re looking to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature, this is the place. Waking up, stepping out of your hut, and being greeted by such a breathtaking view is an experience in itself. It’s peaceful, scenic, and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Overall, a solid 10/10 stay — for the people, the food, and the unforgettable setting. Highly, highly recommended.
