One of those old school traditional bakeries that you should try before it's gone. You can see the dizzying array of old school bakes on offer. Curry puff was good. There were quite a number of cakes as well on offer. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10 Recommended dishes: Pastries, Pies

It has withstood challenges like Covid and the test of time . Give it a try , if you are thinking what to buy , the pineapple, coconut and egg tart are really nice . Loved them growing up Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Grew up with Balmoral Bakery and used to love everything — from their butter cakes to custard puffs and pies. Over the years, I did witness staff members scolding an elderly customer and being rude to others. Thankfully, they no longer there, and service has improved. But I’m honestly disappointed with the food now. The quality has gone downhill. The butter cake no longer tastes the same, and the pies and curry puffs are barely filled. The photo shows their beef pie — the filling is so little, you can’t even taste any minced beef. Its more like just mashed potato i cant figure out. That said, I still love their custard puffs. Love love love their custard puffs. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
