Very old school shop, does not have cdc. Fragrant smell in the air when you step in. Bought the cornet/horn cream, brownie, rum ball and custard puff. Prices range from $1.70 onwards. Brownie is not the fudge kind but more like cake. Custard puff i prefer more flowers kind. Rum ball is interesting but not like lindt kind of course. Cream horn is ok. Overall average but can try for old school taste. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Yes, no meat

Very traditional bakery. Price is reasonable and taste is average. What you see is what you get. Must try, can try or don’t try? If u coming from afar just to try? I say don’t try. Living nearby? Can try. For me, I won’t try it again. The chocolate cake has peppermint taste even though staff said no peppermint added could be because of other cakes kept in the same refrigerator. Egg tart felt artificial…has vanilla taste and banana cake is dry w very little banana taste. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Grew up with Balmoral Bakery and used to love everything — from their butter cakes to custard puffs and pies. Over the years, I did witness staff members scolding an elderly customer and being rude to others. Thankfully, they no longer there, and service has improved. But I’m honestly disappointed with the food now. The quality has gone downhill. The butter cake no longer tastes the same, and the pies and curry puffs are barely filled. The photo shows their beef pie — the filling is so little, you can’t even taste any minced beef. Its more like just mashed potato i cant figure out. That said, I still love their custard puffs. Love love love their custard puffs. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
