The food here is amazing. This hidden gem is off the main road and in such a small town it's a miracle we found it at all. We planned on spending one night in this town before continuing on, but we've ended up staying three because the food at Ban Boran Cafe was so good. We've even asked Vichai to give us some recipes to take home with us.

The Thai red curry is to die for, easily the best meal I've had all year. Perfectly balanced spices with the coconut milk, a generous serving of vegetables and chicken with soft steamed rice on the side. I'm going back today to order more!

If you are in nearby Sukhothai, it is well worth the trip to drop in for lunch or dinner. The Western dishes are great too, but the Thai food is what really shines!

This gorgeous open air restaurant has been converted from a traditional Thai home and decorated with funky decor. The wifi is solid and the area is peaceful. But by far the best thing about this restaurant/cafe is the food. Vichai, the owner and chef, is a master at Thai food. The red curry and Phad Thai were to die for. I keep coming back, my taste buds can't get enough. I'm seriously tempted to kidnap Vichai and take him home as my own chef, honestly my mouth is watering just writing this review. Just do yourself a favour and make the trip here, it's so worth it. But be warned, its highly addictive and you will want to keep eating and eating!!!!
