味はまあまあです。店員がスープを持ってくれるのですが雑です。何処にでもあるような料理の数々でした。

Had a wonderful CNY lunch with friends at Ban Heng Restaurant. It has a traditional, old-school atmosphere and is conveniently located below an HDB block, giving it a nostalgic and authentic feel. The Lou Hei (Yu Sheng) was tangy and refreshing, perfect for the festive toss. Fish maw soup was rich and comforting. The deep-fried soon hock was crispy outside and tender inside, and the steamed prawns with herbal broth were fresh and flavourful. Roasted chicken was juicy, and the tofu with spinach and facai was nicely done. Lotus leaf rice was fragrant, and the red dates, longan & peach gum dessert was a soothing finish. They even provided a complimentary bottle of red wine, abalone, and a lucky draw coupon (1st prize $16,888, 2nd prize $13,888, etc.), which added to the festive atmosphere. Overall, a great place for CNY celebrations with friends and family. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Pre-ordered CNY meals from this outlet with delivery. Food was generally ok, except the crab in the Pen Cai. Crab stinks when we crack open it, the entire room reeks of fishy rotting smell. Crab is probably already dead or rotting when it was cooked. Not sure if the entire pot was contaminated, didnt dare to try the rest of the items in the pot. Considering the cost of 1 pot of Pen Cai, they should have done better to do QC. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
