How this restaurant has a 4.8 rating is honestly a mystery to me. First, they brought me chicken instead of the shrimp Panang curry I ordered. When the correct dish finally arrived, the curry had completely split into a layer of chili oil, with dry shrimp floating in it. Not exactly what I was expecting. My partner ordered the seafood salad, which did at least contain shrimp and squid — but there were only a few pieces of seafood and a small handful of leaves. A very small portion for the price. Overall, disappointing food, poor execution and not good value for money. I really don’t understand the 4.8 rating. I wouldn’t go back. The staff was very sweet and even brought me some extra vegetables to cheer me up, as I had apparently misunderstood the picture, which to me looked like there were peppers or larger pieces of chili in the dish. So, 4 stars for the staff. The downsides were the chicken being served instead of my shrimp Panang curry, and initially, there would have been a very long delay between serving our dishes.
