Finally a first visit to this pops viral local food cafe. Ordered their signature fried Hokkien mee which lived up to its fame! Wok-hei yes! Chilli very spicy n not salty —another yes! Lots of fried pork lard — an “unhealthy” yes! I also ordered the three-layer coffee. Pretty good but haven’t quite figured out what was the third layer other than kopi n milk. Didn’t have room for Kaya toast cos we decided to go next door for some gelato. Ohhhh and the whole place was hot despite air con n fans being turned on! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Highly recommended by friends living near Holland Village, so we came to try the kaya toast at Bao Er Cafe. The kaya was very generous, almost too much, making it a little messy to eat, but still tasty. The Hokkien mee is good especially for those who enjoy the wetter style. Sitting outside was less comfortable due to the humid weather, Worth a visit. Order the kopi Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
