ナナ駅から徒歩5,6分のスクンビットソイ4にあるオイスターバー。お店の雰囲気はよくて照明もロマンチック。肝心の生牡蠣は新鮮でミルキーな味わいで美味しかったです パスタやカラマリもオススメです。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

bar d. mare is a unique bar in that it's actually a bar (with bar stools) in a semi-outdoor settings (covered, garden like with no a/c just fan+portable mist) but work well & provide a very comfortable atmosphere. service is excellent as most other thai establishments. and food is where it sets itself apart. aside from the "deal of the day" oysters, "bar" had a plethora of various grades & qualities of oysters (see pix). pasta dishes are good-very good with all the seafood are fresh. the "tomato" soup is obviously a version of cioppino (a great one at that) that's not to be missed. all the bread & toast are absolutely scrumptious & perfectly done. the baked crab (au gratin?) is delicious as well very rarely that we ordered over 5 dishes and they are all excellent. add to the pleasant surprise is the generous happy hour extended to 9:30 p.m. so we paired our food quite "creatively". this was a great find & a place that we will be back soon. a 5* & heartfelt recommendation without a doubt. thank you for serving great food to bangkokians.
