初めて行ったシガーバーでしたが、初心者にもとても優しく葉巻について教えてくださいました。 葉巻に合うお酒についても、私たちが普段飲んでいる好みのものを聞いた上でオススメを出していただきました。 マスターはスリーピースのスーツをとてもスマートに着こなしており、所作もキレイなのに威圧感はなく、リラックスして楽しく過ごす事ができました。 Price per person: ¥9,000–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

{entry from my visit on 11th May 2026} Chanced upon this intimate 7-seater cocktail and cigar bar in a quiet neighbourhood within Shinjuku at 11pm on a Monday night. The bar that we intended to visit was closed and we walked around looking for the next available bar with cigars. Bar Jilet is helmed by one skilled bartender, and the interior is plush and cosy, albeit very tight. There’s no menu here; so describe your ideal beverage for the night. He does classics very well, so we went with favourites with his little twist including negroni, whisky sour, Irish coffee, and old fashioned. The mastery of mixology and technicalities was great to watch; speed, efficiency, cleanliness, organisation and all. He has a little book where he referred to for all his recipes. He’s just a little too quiet in my opinion perhaps language barrier or just reserved. While I loved the drinks, the decor and have deep appreciation for his craft, I’m not a big fan of the small space this bar is housed in. As mentioned, it could only accommodate 7 guests at a time due to space limitations. So it gets quite claustrophobic at one point when more than 1 person is smoking a cigar. That night, 4 of us had cigars and including the bartender himself I did not want to be rude to step in and out of the bar for air, hence made several visits to the washroom because I was feeling light headed and uncomfortable Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
