Condescending staff. We walked in hoping to grab a drink before dinner. There was a free table so we asked if we could sit there. One waitress said she would check and the other behind the counter just shouted NO from behind the counter. The other waitress offered us a counter seat which we politely declined but decided to browse some of the wines to take away. The girl behind the counter then came up to us to remind us that they were busy and that we should have made a reservation given it was a weekend. You’re busy, that’s great but the unnecessarily condescending nature of the interaction was weird and off putting Service: 1

Came by on a Sunday evening and had a great experience. The service was attentive and friendly, and the overall vibe was relaxed and unpretentious. It’s a lovely spot to unwind and spend a quiet evening. Would definitely come back.

Barely Aged is my kind of wine spot. Great wines by the glass, bar bites of cheese or charcuterie, olives and more. I'm have Tasted and bought a bottle or two but as a I was back flying out with carry on it would have got confiscated... so will just keep this great bijou wine bar on my Must Do Singapore list. Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
