Food was okay, but the service really brought the whole experience down. I came in with a friend because I wanted to try their French toast. She initially stepped out to eat elsewhere, so I ordered on my own. When I placed my order, the staff pointed to her seat and asked, “How about her?” I explained that she had already gone out to eat. When my friend came back, the waiter simply dropped a menu in front of her without saying a word. I was still eating, and it honestly felt like there was pressure for her to order something, so she ended up doing so. The staff came across as cold and unwelcoming the entire time no greetings, no smiles, not even a simple acknowledgment despite us saying thank you. It was very different from the warm and friendly service we’ve experienced elsewhere in Taiwan. Looking around, the place was mostly empty, which wasn’t surprising. After checking reviews later on, I saw many others had similar experiences. Definitely something I wish I had read beforehand. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
