Delicious, quick, hearty, and very affordable. A nice spot right in the heart of Cheng Talay, with authentic Thai dishes and flavours, and your next lunch spot! FOOD Yes, the pad kra pao is delicious here but I've had most of the menu and it's all super tasty. My personal favourite is the pad kra pao, the pad see ew, and the kale with crispy pork. Not too heavy on the sodium, and when you ask for little spice, they actually listen to you! SERVICE Really quick and they speak English. No nonsense type of place. Just sit down, read the menu and call the server over. Easy peasy. And very communicative. ATMOSPHERE Beautiful rustic furniture though no air con. Very relaxing and green, perfect for lunch. Highly recommend! Pad kra pow pork was really good. Tomyum was ok because it tasted a lot more like panang curry than tomyum cos of the amount of coconut milk in the broth. Overall very tasty Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We hosted our New Years Eve dinner at Basil House, 30 family members. The food was incredible and the service was great. They just made it work for us. The pricing is really good as well.
