On this sun-soaked island edition of Coffee With Sean, we wander into the palm-fringed paradise known as Koh Lanta Beach Club—a spot where time slows down, sandals become optional, and your only real responsibility is remembering where you left your cold drink. This place delivers the kind of laid-back beach life that travel ads promise but rarely deliver. The sand is soft enough to make you consider a career in doing absolutely nothing, and the sunsets hit so hard you’ll start questioning why you ever bothered owning shoes. The beach was practically empty, just me and a few footprints that might’ve been mine, and the ocean was so smooth it looked like someone ironed it at sunrise. The water was clear enough to spot your own reflection judging you for not moving here permanently. And then there’s the crew(Wayne and Waynita) running the place. They were top-tier—warm, quick, and somehow always appearing right when you needed something without hovering like a helicopter parent. The food hit every note, the kind of “perfect” that makes you hum after the first bite, and the drinks showed up cold, balanced, and exactly what the moment called for. It all came together with that easygoing island charm that you can’t fake. If you’re hunting for a stretch of sand that feels like your own private escape, Koh Lanta Beach Club hits the mark.
