シンガポール名物の一つである、美味しいプラアンヌードルを食べようと朝から訪問。 7時30分から営業してるのは助かります。 びっくりするぐらい美味しかったです。 濃厚なエビスープがほんと美味しい。 少し街中から離れてますが、わざわざ行くのもありだと思います。

Beach Road prawn noodles has been in the East Coast for over 35+years. Been here countless times. A budget friendly quick fix if you are living and visiting around the East side and craving for prawn noodles. Just order the standard version as the bigger prawns are below expectations. Prefer just the yellow noodles as the bee hoon /rice vermicelli is very thick version. Standard of broth cannot be compared to the previous years. Not hot enough and inconsistency of taste depending on time you visit. Two shop spaces has been reduced to one, thus limited sitting in the shop, along the sheltered walkway at the side and front five foot way of the shop. Better to sit inside the shop if you do not want the sight of unpleasant crows and mynah birds stealing food to spoil your meal. Service is fast, food served 5-10 minutes. The ngoh hiang store currently has no service as it became self collection. Have to look out for signboard number as no beeper given. Prices are up and food standard down. Can give this Ngoh Hiang Prawn Fritter store a miss. Beach Road prawn noodle house can visit if you are NOT looking for perfection but because it is a long established prawn noodles brand in Singapore and a must try for comparison standards for prawn noodles lovers.
