We happen to pass by this restaurant not knowing what we wanted to eat for lunch after our boat cruise seeing Mt Fuji. It's a big place to eat with a group. They had friendly service but barely spoke English. They had a very simple menu and we all had their 1 or 1.5 beef cutlet with additional sides. You can use their small little grill to cook the beef a little more. I thought the beef was very tender even after heating it up more. Sauces were good but the wasabi is not spicy at all. It was perfect still and not too filling for me. You can have larger portions but we like to try other things after it have dessert.Decent prices. I would recommend them. In photo attached is the 1.5x portion and the 2x portion for comparison. You can see if there is any marbling of the meat from the middle section of the cutlet. There is also a stone grill available to cook the meat further to your liking. Nevertheless, excellent gyukatsu. Get the 2x portion or more if you are a big eater. You wont regret it. Be prepared to to wait around 10 minutes during peak dinner periods though Overall, a good place to settle your dinner after a day exploring the Kawaguchigo area.
