I came across and ad for the opening of this new Beer Cafe but was not able to make the launch event. I am happy I was passing by on a Sunday because this place is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the lighting of the cafe is very relaxing. The staff is incredibly friendly and were happy to explain the various beer flavors available. The interior is clean and modern and it feels like a great place to hang out and chat with friends or maybe even enjoy a book with a drink or two. The food was good and definitely paired well with the beer, it's definitely more small bites but it works well as I think small bites are best when having a few beers. The fish and chips were lovely and I really enjoyed the home made tartar sauce. The fries were nice and crispy and I would definitely order them on their own in the future. The beer was really good and each one had hints of some of my favorite beers from back home. I particularly loved the red ginger spiced ale which was perfect on a cold day. The mikan flavor was also really refreshing and I would definitely order it again. If you are disembarking or departing at Susaki station the location is perfect as it's just a short walk away. It would serve as a great place to grab a drink and a bite before or after a train ride. For now they are only open on Sundays but I think this is a great addition to this area of Susaki. It has the vibes of a Tokyo or Osaka beer cafe but still feels very local and welcoming so definitely check it out if you've been looking for a change of pace from your standard izakaya. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
