Really nice owner and perfect place for an extravert person/traveler. Had great fun here. Beer is expensive but good, and lots of options. The owner knows a lot about the alcohol he serves and cares about providing you with the best drink for you. You pay for the experience, and it is more than worth it. I am visiting again, next time I am in Taipei. P.s. Not recommended for introverted persons.

#1 experience in Taiwan. Brendan is a hotelier that has travelled the world on his bike and I am honoured to have attended his bar! Amazing, quirky and memorable and importantly for me as a non-Mandarin speaking tourist, most of the patrons will speak English! No language barriers :). Bring positivity and an open mind, and you'll have a beautiful time. Please do not expect cheap generic drinks and the chance to sit in the corner by yourself with a friend. There are other bars for that. At this bar it is a sociable experience. You take your shoes off and sit at a single table on each level. If you're lucky, the owner Brendan will take you on a tour of the many different levels and will guide you to choose from 1 of 400 drinks. You will meet new people and likely share the spotlight of a Polaroid photo that is pinned onto the wall with your new friends... forever to be recorded in "human history". I will always have great memories of BeerBicycle. Price per person: $800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
