The Matcha Latte (65HKD For both Hot and Iced)'s powder is a bit astringent and it tasted the same as the generic Koyamaen Powder. The 'Salad Penne' (Actually called the Avocado Penne with Parma Ham on the Menu, 113HKD) is literally a mix of Cesar Salad and a bit of Créme, which I liked it. Iced Matcha Latte results:. Taste: 7.95/10. Visuals: 8.76/10. Total: 8.36/10 *Luckily my meal is 20% off during the afternoon. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200

Begin Coffee is truly a hidden gem in Mongkok. It takes a little effort to find - tucked away in a small alley, and then four floors up - but that’s part of the charm. Once you get there, you’re rewarded with a cozy, cute space that feels worlds away from the busy streets below. They have both indoor seating and a small terrace, so you can choose between a relaxed café vibe or some fresh air. The coffee is excellent, rich, smooth and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to bring a friend to impress them with your “secret café” discovery. Definitely worth the hunt if you’re in the area!
