The youg lady staff is horrible. I passed by the shop on 26 June 2026 at around 7.15pm. There were 2 staff at the shop. I older and 1 younger. The younger sales lady was sitting beside the fridge where keeping the cakes. The horrible thing was she KEPT THE FRIDGE DOOR OPENED COMPLETELY FOR AT LEAST 5 MINS TO COOL HERSELF. She sat on a stool beside the fridge with her left hand resting on the top of the fridge. I tried to take a photo of that but she kept looking at my direction so i couldn't. I stayed there for like 5 mins and by the time she closed the fridge door, i saw a cake which has a chocolate plate on it, that the chocolate has a layer of water (moist) on it already. Horrible staff. DO NOT BUY THEIR CAKES OR ANYTHING STORES I THE FRIDGE. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Delicious Mooncake , Poor Service The snow skin mooncakes were fantastic with a chewy, mochi-like skin and great flavour. However, the service was terrible, and the staff could use better training. The food is worth it, but don’t expect good service. Food: 5 Service: 1

Have eaten bengawan solo for decades now. Quality of the food is good but this branch seems to always run out of stuff. Maybe they should stock up more at this branch since it’s so popular. Overall great!
