Popped in at the middle of the afternoon for a beer and a snack as I had just arrived in Pattaya for a one night staycation. Lovely pint of Stella and scotch egg (beautifully presented). I love the decor - especially the photo gallery on the wall- I felt like John Mills from Ice Cold in Alex in one of the pics as I really needed that pint after the drive down from Bangkok and contending with the Pattaya Saturday traffic 555. The only slight disappointment was that they didn't have the two St. Austell Ales beers mentioned on the menu. As it was early afternoon it wasn't very busy, but I guess in the evening it is popular for expats, as a respectable place for a meal and a couple of beers. I wish the establishment well and will be back again when I'm in the area. Price per person: ฿400–600

Without a shadow of a doubt my favourite place in Jomtien.. The ‘pub grub’ is superb the best food around here… whether I have scampi, ham egg and chips or the fish and chips the consistency is amazing. I would have breakfast here too but I am an early bird and they don’t open until 10am!! I brought three of my old Thai work colleagues here a few weeks back and they loved it… the ploughmans one of them ordered lasted her 2 days!!! John the owner is sound, a proper football Chap… the music is great, whether it’s the Jam and the clash , classic Elvis or Motown classics the atmosphere is just right… All of the staff are wonderful, friendly and welcoming but not in your face!! I tend to be more of a day time customer unless there is sport I want to watch later in the day ( on 4 huge tv’s ) so a special shout out has to go to Mam who always makes me feel so welcome…. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿400–600
