初めて行ったレストランで、本当にコスパ最高、接客最高！で、感動の連続でした。 2人前のセットメニューを頼んだのですが、食べきれないくらい。どれもシンプルながらも素材の味がいかされていて、しっかりしているのに重くない。 〆のデザートまで全て手作りで、こだわりたっぷり。デザートまで手を抜いてないところが120点。 元々カラフルな店内だったみたいだけど、最近内装を改装、黒を基調にモダンな空間へ。なかなか行かないエリアですが、また必ず行きたい。どんなシチュエーションでも使えるお店に出会えて嬉しい。ごちそうさまでした 요즘 코로나라 외식도 잘 못하고 있었는데 정말 오랜만에 맛있고 서비스까지 좋은 가게를 만났습니다. 깊은 맛이 있으면서 무겁지 않고 소재의 맛이 살아있어 정말 맛있어요! 분위기도 모던한 느낌으로 최근에 리모델링했다고 하네요! 양이 너무 많아 엄청 배고프게 가세요! 배고프게 가도 다 못먹어요!ㅎㅎ 꼭 재방문하겠습니다

My husband (Korean) and I (Swiss) love exploring different neighborhoods in Seoul and trying new restaurants, especially around university districts because they always have a fun atmosphere. This time we went to the Sungshin Women’s University neighborhood for a little date night and chose to try Benvenuto because I had been craving proper European food. As a Swiss person, I also thought it was such a nice surprise to find out that the chef is Swiss, which made the experience feel even more special and familiar. The restaurant felt really cozy and romantic, calm, with a European vibe, and perfect for a date. I also loved the screens showing videos of Italy and even recognized places I had visited before. The menu isn’t huge, but everything sounded good. My husband loves meat, so we chose the beef steak, and I was especially happy to see gnocchi on the menu because it’s actually not that common to find in European restaurants in Seoul, which is why I chose the gnocchi. The steak was super tender and the sauce paired perfectly with it. The vegetables were also a great addition and made the plate feel really balanced and complete. The potato cake was such a surprise because it reminded me of my mum’s gratin dauphinois, which felt comforting and nostalgic. The gnocchi was probably my favorite. Sometimes gnocchi can be overcooked or not cooked enough, but these were cooked perfectly. There was plenty of sauce, generous cheese, and lots of truffle. The portions also felt more generous than what you usually get at this price. We also tried the aperitivo option with cheeses, charcuterie, and wine before dinner and I thought it was such a nice concept. The cheeses and charcuterie were delicious and it made the whole experience feel very European. *Aperitivo = an Italian pre-dinner tradition where you have a drink with small snacks (cheese, charcuterie, olives, etc.) before the meal. There are still so many things I want to come back for, especially the lasagna and tiramisu because my mum makes amazing ones and I miss them, so now I really want to compare. I also really want to try the four-cheese pizza that I saw at another table. It was such a lovely experience for a relaxed date night in Seoul. Great Italian dinner in South Korea as a tourist! I tried a pizza and tiramisu, and both were absolutely delicious. The tiramisu was perfectly creamy and not too sweet.
