情報の誤りを報告する
Called the restaurant hoping to sort it out, and at first they tried to blame the rider, saying that they "couldn't be responsible for the way the rider transports it".
I had no idea that a short motorcycle ride could change the flavour of soft serve itself. I think I need to re-consult with my physics teacher.
After pointing out that this was totally improbable, I received a half-hearted apology, and was told that the best solution would be to place another order at a discount in the future.
Maybe this sounds reasonable to other people, but not me.
