I never imagined a bakery that could be so bad! Had their butter muffins today coz they looked good. Ate one when i got home and thought I was given the wrong item. It was dry, almost tasteless & I had to drink 2 cups of tea to wash it down. I am looking at the 2nd one now, either I throw it away or use it as a kitchen sponge to wash my cups. Aunty please don't fool customers by the name " Best Bakes " and that kind of pricing. The mass produced bakes at Sheng Siong priced at 0.70 cents are tastier and better value. Never going back again..... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Best Bakes. Considering the premium prices they charge, I expected high-quality ingredients and fresh products. Unfortunately, that was not what I received. The pastries looked appealing at first glance, but the taste and texture suggested very low-quality ingredients. The bread was dry and the flavour felt bland, almost like it was made with cheap flour and minimal effort especially the cakes. For the price point they charge, this is simply unacceptable. When customers pay a premium, they expect premium quality, fresh ingredients, proper baking standards, and consistency. Sadly, my experience did not reflect that at all. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and reviews their ingredient quality and pricing strategy. Customers deserve value for what they pay. Not recommended. Was told the Kueh baulu was made freshly in the shop but found out later that it wasn't so. I found the same thing with the same packaging at another shop at least 40 percent cheaper . Will not patronise again .
