We organized a baking class at Best Kitchen for Valentines Day in Hong Kong as we felt it was time for us to do something unique for that special someone. Chef Lai made asked us what we wanted to learn to bake and then proceeded to teach us how to make a traditional Chinese pastry (in our case, a sweet rice cake). We might have spent more time dabbing flour on each others face than baking but the atmosphere and class made the time go by very fast.Overall it was a great way to do something original for Valentine's day and in the process taught us how to bake some local food. I'd gladly recommend it to any group who wants to do something different for a change and learn how to bake.
