I bought their chocolate tart and almond cookie! Omg I had 1 bit of the cookie and it threw me off. I mean when I bite into it it was crumbly and not very dry. For the chocolate tart I was surprised that it was not that sweet! The tart crust was not too crumbly and it was soft enough. I will come back again to try other items :3 Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10

Running errands nearby and happened to pass by this old-school bakery — can never resist an old-school bakery. Only realised after reaching home that this place was already on my “to-go” list on Google Maps. Not sure what their must-try items are, but we noticed they bake quite a variety of pies (Banana Walnut Pie, Apple Crumble Pie, etc.), so I’m guessing those might be their popular sellers. And they are S$3.40 per slice (I just went Donna Mania Taka an hour back and theirs is S$5.50) Not all the items had price tags, so we randomly picked two cakes that came up to S$5.50 — a slice of Carrot Walnut Cake for S$2 and a (not sure of the exact name and price) Peanut Cake and it was a hefty S$3.50. But I would totally buy the latter again! Left it at room temperature and it stayed very soft, nicely coated with cream and crushed peanuts, with a layer of jam in the middle.
