Favorite local spot for Tamil Hindu foods. Vegetarian, vegan, Gluten-free/wheat allergy support simply in the food offerings Made fresh daily -banana Bajji -pepper bajji -veg pakora -Various Dosa with sambal dal and Chana masala (Masala dosa is available in the afternoon and is a sellout item!) -Uttapam (onion is super tasty) I’ve met two chefs and adore their joy and passion. The ambience is a great outdoor garden with the neighborhood activity bustling during the day and winding down into the wee hours. When the trains have stopped and buses aren’t running yet, Bigg Boss Bistro in Little India is the neighborhood spot. There are many more offerings of chicken, samosa, and all types of cakes which my family loved as well. But BBB is my daily haunt. Look at the pictures — the GIANT mural of a tailor at his sewing machine is the *correct* location. There is a fenced garden with a grass yard and seating. I have no idea about these other reviews for different establishments. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Onion Uttapam, Pakora, Bhajji Vegetarian options: Too many to list. Vegetarian foods do not have egg. For vegans, do not request “ghee”. All Dosai comes with standard veg (sambal dal, chutneys, and sometimes Chana masala). Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian (no egg) and vegan (no ghee, cheese) support, many items naturally free of wheat/gluten. Ghee and egg is optional by request. Alert the staff of your concern(s) when ordering.
