Excellent service + the food was delicious. Nice to have an upscale bistro with a very modern but cost interior. Yes, the onion soup is as good as many say Great terrace for enjoying a coffee with an amazing view of the race course. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $350–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Bistro Canter is Hong Kong Jockey Club’s casual European restaurant at the Shatin Racecourse. The interior design resembles that of a British diner. The main dining is spacious and cool. Servers are polite and accommodating. However, food is very salty. The only recommendable dish is the smooth and flavourful Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Parfait (HK$ 128). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $400–450 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
