I recently visited this spot for their corkage service during a get-together with my long-time high school friends, based on a local wine shop owner's recommendation—and I'm so glad I did. From the start, I was impressed by the owner's professionalism and expertise in wine handling. I brought a 2016 Left Bank Bordeaux and a 2014 Malbec, and after carefully inspecting the bottles, he selected appropriate glasses from an incredible collection. Watching the glassware itself felt like part of the experience! I offered him a taste of my wines, and I was genuinely impressed by his deep knowledge and appreciation. There's something truly special about sharing wines with someone who understands and enjoys them just as much as you do. We had a fantastic time sipping two beautiful bottles alongside delicious food. I couldn't resist finishing the evening with a dessert wine, so I asked for a recommendation—something sweet but not overly so. He suggested a Vouvray, and it was spot-on. Served at just the right temperature, it brought perfect balance without overwhelming sweetness. Though I don’t have much wine experience in Korea, this place easily stands out—even when compared to wine service in the U.S. I’d love to return and try their own wine selections paired with the food next time I’m in Korea. It was so delicious that I didn't even have time to take a picture. We recommend that you make a reservation and try the T-bone steak. The novelty of grilling a steak in a charcoal kiln and the tenderness of the meat... it's truly artistic. The pasta is also really delicious. I guarantee that the pasta and steak at Bistro Gama are much more delicious and cost-effective than those at Gangnam's high-end restaurants. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
