*Please note the owner closed the “Shatterbox” name on google maps after having received 5 reviews involving food poisoning (1 from me), then renamed it “Blanco bar”, again permanently closed it, and this is the third google account. I don’t know whether there is a new owner, new menu or whatsoever but this place completely ruined my stay in Phiphi in December 2024. After eating burgers there both me and my husband spent 3 nights at the PhiPhi Hospital with the bill of $2000 each vomiting with fever 38.8 — 24/7 (we didn’t check the reviews of others saying they’ve got poisoned before eating). I suffered for a total of 9 days until the end of my Thailand trip and was praying to just go back mainland. My husband long after going back to Europe had stomach and digestion problems. This was the first time in our life we had to call an actual ambulance (golf car) from the hotel because we were not able to function. The owner of the previous google account didn’t reach out to us, nothing — they just blocked me. I’ve tried to reach out to the owner but ‘hello Thailand” — they seem to not be registered anywhere.
