Hi Kris, we’re sorry to hear this didn’t meet your expectations. We do not serve ‘fake coffee,’ and all of our ingredients are fresh and prepared in-house. The salmon dish includes a house sauce that may not suit everyone’s taste, however if you were unhappy with it, our staff would have been more than happy to adjust the dish or prepare something else for you at the time. We always encourage guests to let us know during their visit so we can make things right immediately. We appreciate your feedback.

Bloom Restaurant & Garden is a place that gets a lot of things right but ultimately leaves you feeling shortchanged. The location itself is genuinely cool with a beautiful garden setting that creates a lovely atmosphere for dining. It is the kind of place that looks great on photos and makes a strong first impression when you arrive. The service was friendly and attentive with staff that clearly cares about making guests feel welcome. No complaints there at all. The food quality was also good with well prepared dishes that tasted great and showed some real skill in the kitchen. So far so good. Here is where the problem comes in. The portion sizes are simply too small for what they are charging. When your food arrives and you are essentially looking at a beautifully plated but tiny amount of food on the plate, it is hard not to feel disappointed. Good food and a nice atmosphere can justify a higher price point, but only if the portions match the expectation. Paying premium prices and walking away still hungry is never a good combination. It is the kind of restaurant where you either need to order multiple dishes to feel satisfied, which quickly adds up, or you accept that you are paying mainly for the ambiance and presentation rather than for a filling meal. Either way the value for money just does not add up and that is frustrating because everything else about the experience is genuinely enjoyable. If the portions were brought in line with the pricing, Bloom Restaurant & Garden would easily be a four or five star experience. The foundation is there with a great location, good service, and tasty food. But until the plate matches the bill, three stars is where it lands for me.
