Honestly, I don't understand the hype around Blue Bottle. Even with 6 staff members working, I had to wait 20 minutes just to get a coffee that tasted like instant coffee with warm milk. I definitely won't be coming back. An $8 lesson learned the hard way. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Good coffee overall. I usually prefer my coffee quite strong, and this one was even stronger than what I’m used to. Next time, I might go for an iced version instead. The lemon cheesecake was delicious, light, not too heavy, and nicely balanced between sweet and tangy flavors. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Blue Bottle Coffee at Raffles City is genuinely one of those places that reminds you why certain global coffee brands build such loyal followings. Conveniently located inside LUMINE (the U.S.-origin retail concept with its beautifully curated minimalist Japanese-inspired aesthetic), this café feels effortlessly stylish from the moment you walk in. The location itself is extremely easy to access, especially if you’re already exploring Raffles City, and the clean, understated design perfectly complements the premium coffee experience. The overall atmosphere strikes a really nice balance between refined and welcoming. The minimalist Japanese influence gives it a polished, modern feel without being overwhelming, making it a great stop whether you’re grabbing a quick specialty coffee or slowing down for a more relaxed break during shopping. Now to the real highlight — the coffee. Simply put, Blue Bottle absolutely delivers. Their specialty offerings were exceptional, easily some of the best coffee options I’ve had in Singapore. The flavor profiles were incredibly well-balanced, smooth, and clearly crafted with attention to detail. You can genuinely taste the quality, and for coffee lovers, this is the kind of place where the product truly justifies the reputation. While some of their cups and merchandise are definitely on the pricier side, the coffee itself is absolutely worth it. If you’re there primarily for the drinks, you’re unlikely to leave disappointed. They also offer a nice range of pastries, which pair really well with the drinks and round out the experience nicely. While the pastry selection may not necessarily be the main attraction, it’s a welcome addition that makes the café feel complete. The staff were polite, professional, and handled the constant flow of customers well. This place does tend to stay quite busy most of the time, which is a testament to its popularity, so expect a bit of a crowd during peak hours. Despite that, service remained efficient and courteous. Overall, Blue Bottle Coffee at Raffles City is absolutely worth visiting if you appreciate premium coffee, sleek aesthetics, and a well-curated café experience. It’s stylish, accessible, and serves some truly outstanding coffee that stands out even in Singapore’s competitive café scene. Definitely a spot I look forward to revisiting. Highly recommended for both serious coffee enthusiasts and anyone wanting to experience one of the better specialty coffee destinations in the city.
