Bit of a story here We paddled a kayak from a resort a few kms down the beach, and called into this tiny village to get water. We only had card to pay, and the owners machine was not working. She very generously gave us 2 bottles of water for free. We decided to head back there for dinner, to show our appreciation and pay for the water. Best decision we made! Can honestly say this was the best meal we had in Khao Lak. Not only was it delicious, it was authentic, staff were very friendly and felt like we were locals. We had 3 alcoholic drinks, 2 mains, 2 rice & dessert (plus 2 bottles water!) for around 700 baht. Very nice place to have a delicious lunch or dinner. Menu is very varied all meals are fresh and delicious. The best Tomb Yam I have ever eaten before. Literally the best Thai family restaurant I have ever been to. Maybe even the best overall restaurant experience in my life. Great food. Good prices, but most importantly AMAZING atmosphere and service. I was actually solo traveling and they made me feel so welcomed I actually came back every evening of my whole stay. Definitely recommend ! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
