A beautifully designed restaurant facing the sea. Well maintained. Seating on a large, covered terrace. The food is delicious and the service is great. If you’re anywhere near Chong Lard Pier on Koh Yao Yai, do yourself a favour and stop by Blue Tamarind Restaurant & Bar — this place is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — genuinely friendly, attentive, and full of smiles. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, but the real highlight is the food. Every dish we had was incredibly fresh — you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Honestly, it was some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had in Thailand. Perfectly balanced flavours, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. And the drinks? Ice-cold, refreshing, and exactly what you want in the heat — the perfect pairing for such amazing food. This place isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience.
