WARNING!!! My brother and I went here To Bombay Brau (Haeundae beach) in early September and had the worst restaurant experience of our lives. It was a quiet Wednesday night (no one else in the place) and we were seated by the Korean waiter right near the counter where the chef prepares the meals.Initially everything seemed fine until I heard a loud spitting sound from the chef, who is in this video . After we were served our curries he was joined by another Indian, at which point the main chef repeatedly commented to him 'gaylords like the taste of your....'. I'm assuming from the spitting sounds we heard that our food had been contaminated by these sub-human parasites. I then confronted the chef and asked ‘’are you calling us gaylords?’’ to which he replied 'Yes!! Gaylords!!' Not that it matters, but we are brothers and neither of us are gay. This was followed by a heated exchange with a lot of cursing(justifiably IMO) and insults which included comments about us being Australian. To defuse the situation which would’ve only got worse, my brother wisely said "we're not paying for this and we’re leaving right now’’. Throughout the whole incident the restaurant manager (I’m assuming) who’s in this video stood there and said nothing! Whatever the reason for the hatred – misguided homophobia, racism or xenophobia towards Australians – there is no place for it in today’s society and I feel people like this need to be exposed and made an example of. I will also be contacting Korean Immigration authorities to warn them that these vile creatures should not be working in the food service industry.
