Bonchon at Riverside Plaza has become our family tradition whenever we stay at Avani or Anantara Riverside, and it consistently delivers a satisfying Korean comfort food experience for all five of us. This visit, the budaejjigae was the star once again. It arrives loaded with ramyeon, tofu, ham, kimchi, enoki mushrooms and leeks, and the beauty of this dish is patience — the longer it stews on the induction hotplate, the richer and deeper the broth becomes. We added squid and extra ramyeon, which made it go even further. The soy garlic chicken skin was crispy and moreish, and the kids' udon sets — served in an adorable bear-shaped plate — kept all three children happy and well fed. For families staying at the Avani+ or Anantara Riverside, this is a convenient dinner option right inside Riverside Plaza on the first floor. No need to venture out after a long day. Our total came to ฿1,742 including VAT for five people, which felt like solid value for the spread we had. We will be back next trip — that much is certain.
