I had passed by this spot a few times and was always intrigued by its name, so I finally decided to visit on a weekday with a group of colleagues for lunch. We immediately loved the quiet vibes and the old-world charm aesthetic of the space. Though the restaurant was very quiet with only one other table occupied, the service staff definitely deserve a shout-out. The staff member who served us was incredibly welcoming and patient with our queries. He was highly accommodating, even allowing us to order an appetiser that is usually reserved for the evening menu. Following his recommendation, we went with the Sautee Garlic Prawns, which he shared had been sourced fresh from the port that very morning. He was spot on. I have not had such fresh and perfectly cooked prawns for a long time, and the caramelised garlic was beyond words. For the mains, the menu features Western dishes with a creative Asian twist, and every item looks interesting. Each of us went for a different pasta dish. I ordered the Mala Prawn Fettuccine, which was generously loaded with fresh prawns and delivered a fiery kick. I also got to try a little of my colleague’s Kyoto Seafood Spaghetti and really liked the rich umami notes of the sauce. What a great find, we are definitely coming back! Visited Bone Apple Tea Bistro and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was great — cozy, intimate, and with only a few tables, it felt relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice spot to hang out and chat with friends. We tried a few dishes, and the standout for me was the seafood spaghetti, which was flavourful and well-balanced. The beef rigatoni was also good, with flavours reminiscent of Japanese curry, which made it interesting and comforting. Overall, the food was good, and the vibe makes this a great place for a casual meal or a long catch-up with friends. Would come back again.
