Many years ago, I tried abalone porridge in Jeju, and this visit brought back a lot of memories. This time, we decided to try it again by randomly ordering a few items from the menu. Personally, I felt the ingredients were very generous and incredibly fresh. You can really taste the natural flavour of the sea in the porridge. Most people will need to order at least one bowl. To be honest, for foreigners who are not used to the strong seafood taste, and the portion are quite generous ; it might feel a little wasted as not everyone can fully appreciate the flavour. If the owner could be slightly more flexible, it might help reduce food wastage. Overall, it’s still worth trying for the experience, especially if you are an abalone or porridge lover.
