I recently visited Fariner, and it has easily become one of my favorite bakery spots. Their sourdough is truly outstanding—beautiful crust, rich flavor, and that perfect tangy note that sourdough lovers appreciate. I love how you can simply stand or sit outside, slow down, and enjoy every bite with a hot Americano. The coffee has that slightly “sour” profile that pairs so well with the bread—simple, authentic, and satisfying. What impressed me even more (a little personal win!) is that my CGM reading only went up to 6.8 after enjoying it—pretty much perfect. It’s rare to find bread that feels indulgent yet still works so well for me. Sourdough is something we always seek out wherever we travel, and this place really stands out. It’s the kind of spot that feels like a reward—especially after a meal, when you just want something comforting and real. I usually bring my own salted butter (I can’t live without good, healthy fats ), and pairing it with their warm bread is just next level. The shop itself is always full—clearly loved by regulars. Despite being busy non-stop, the team remains friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Honestly, this is the best sourdough I’ve had so far.
