情報の誤りを報告する
Very nice breakfast with great manager but shocking staff’s attitude.
Went to have breakfast on Thursday. I ordered Breakfast Poutine and my companion had 2-egg breakfast with two coffees. My came just potatoes and cheese without eggs nor bacon as written on the menu. I asked the manager and she said that it was just that. I didn’t protest cuz I thought I misread it. The food was excellent, nonetheless.
Saturday morning, we went back with our staff and I read the menu again. I told the lady manager who remembers me. This time I inquired if I had ordered my plate wrongly from my previous visit. She apologized and said she remembered what happened now. So she advised me to that she will give us complimentary plate.
On our way out, a half Caucasian staff with angry face said she must add an entry of Poutine to my bill despite the fact that the lady manager explained to her why it isn’t on the bill. Then she went on to argue with her manager that the manager is wrong because she can only give discount not a complimentary one.
And all this in front of me, supposedly their customer. So I had to intervened and said to them that this discussion should be done privately. And finally the angry staff decided to agree with her manager without any apologetic gestures towards me, my friends nor her senior manager.
I did not ask for a free plate nor did I make a scene. The staff behavior is extremely poor. I love the food there but this kind of service has pretty much damaged my experience from extremely positive to a hesitant one. This is exactly how poor staff can destroy a small business.
