Truly one of the best sunset spots in Koh Samui! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The sunset view is absolutely breathtaking, and watching airplanes slowly descend and land against the colorful evening sky makes it even more special. It’s such a unique combination of natural beauty and exciting moments. Perfect place to relax, enjoy drinks, and create unforgettable memories. Highly recommended! Sunset Garden in Ko Samui, Thailand, is a true gem for anyone seeking a relaxed beachside dining experience. Nestled right on the beach, this spot boasts an unbeatable location with breathtaking views of the bay, especially magical at sunset when the sky fills with vibrant colors. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back and welcoming, making it ideal for families, couples, or anyone wanting to unwind without any rush. The service stands out as excellent—staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The menu is impressively well-rounded, blending authentic Thai flavors with several Western options to suit different preferences. The Thai food is particularly good, full of fresh ingredients and bold tastes. We enjoyed a couple of different noodle dishes that were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The gaeng som with shrimp was a standout—extra sour and spicy, delivering that delicious tangy kick that lingers in the best way. I ordered the Japanese curry with fried cutlet and rice, which was comforting, creamy, and satisfying with a nicely crispy cutlet. My son loved his chicken satay—tender, well-marinated skewers served with a rich peanut sauce that he couldn’t get enough of. One of the biggest perks for families is the direct beach access. While the adults relax with beverages and conversation, the kids can play safely on the sand just steps away. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the prime beachfront setting—excellent value for such quality food and location. Overall, Sunset Garden checks every box: stunning views, great service, tasty and varied food, a chilled vibe, and family-friendly appeal. Honestly, the food is just ok. But not much beats the service, kindness of the servers, vibe, and view! Sunset has been happening around 6:30pm, and it’s been full most nights by 6pm. So arrive at least 30 minutes before sunset, get comfortable, buy a drink, and enjoy. I’ve watched multiple sunsets here and plan to go back for many more!
