The value for money is excellent. We spent three nights in a bungalow and were initially skeptical, but in retrospect we were very satisfied. The location is superb (a bit quieter and not in the party area), and there's a fantastic restaurant right across the street on the beach. The staff were extremely friendly. Service: 5

Very poor service. There are an extreme number of stairs, so this is important to keep in mind if you have limited mobility. We often experienced that the host seemed indifferent to our requests and needs. The bungalow we stayed in only had a fan, which worked fine for us. However, the toilet did not work properly at all, and there was only ice-cold water in the shower. There were no toiletries or towels provided, even though this was stated in the description. It was also disappointing that there was no refrigerator in the room. The bed was extremely hard, and we ended up with severe back pain. We have been traveling around Asia for several months, and this was without a doubt the hardest bed we have slept on. I really cannot recommend this place unless you enjoy sleeping on what feels like a wooden board with a thin mattress. One day we rented a scooter through the hotel and had to leave my passport as a deposit, which in itself was acceptable. However, when we returned the scooter, they claimed that we had damaged it, which we absolutely had not. We had taken both photos and a video of the scooter and its existing scratches before renting it. Despite this, they insisted that we pay for repairs to the phone holder, even though we were not the ones who damaged it. They completely refused to listen to us, and in the end we paid because they would not return my passport otherwise. I left in tears, as it was a very uncomfortable and distressing experience. I really cannot recommend this hotel. Service: 1

We very much enjoyed staying at Bubble Bungalow. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We got breakfast and taxi to and from the port included in the price. It was a wonderful time in Koh Tao! Service: 4
