After trying a disappointing kway chap stall at Tampines Round Market that is listed in the Michelin Guide, Bukit Merah View Kway Chap is indeed a hidden gem in the neighbourhood! Located in a kopitiam beneath a multi-storey car park in the Taman Jurong estate, this humble stall really surprised me. The braised gravy is so flavourful without being overpowering. The braised ingredients are cooked just right, with the rich flavours of the braise nicely infused into them. The kway is smooth and silky, and surprisingly, it didn’t turn soggy even after being dabao-ed. What I really like about this stall is the humility of the owners. They simply want to serve good kway chap from the heart, rather than chase awards or recognition. A true hidden gem that deserves to be discovered! Hands down the best kway chap I’ve ever had in Singapore! The intestines are impeccably cleaned, super tender with no weird aftertaste, and the portions are seriously huge. The broth is incredibly fragrant, rich, and packed with that deep, comforting flavour that keeps you coming back for more. If you’re in the area, you have to come and try it! Definitely worth the visit — show this hidden gem some love and support!

I’ve been supporting this kway chap stall awhile, even before I was pregnant, and it became one of my pregnancy cravings. The food is consistently delicious, with flavourful and tender ingredients. What touched me even more was the kindness of the stall owner. When I visited today, he remembered me and asked if it had been one month post delivery. While we were eating, he came over and handed us an ang bao, saying it was for the baby 满月.. When we got home and opened it, we were so surprised to find $50 inside. We had expected it to be a small token, but his generosity truly moved us. In a world where simple acts of kindness can make such a difference, this gesture made our day. Thank you for serving amazing kway chap and also showing genuine care for your customers. We will definitely continue supporting this wonderful stall and highly recommend it to anyone looking for both delicious food and warm-hearted people.
