Super cute small café serving made-to-order bánh mì and other sandwiches. This place is special, you don’t often find shops in Hong Kong that make you feel so welcomed. BunMe in Sheung Wan is a hidden gem that serves an unbelievably delicious breakfast combination. I tried their tomato cucumber and tuna wheat bun, which was fresh, crispy, and perfectly balanced in flavors, paired with a Hong Kong-style milk tea—all for just HK$38. The café owner deserves a special mention for her customer-oriented attitude, happy to swap coffee for Hong Kong-style milk tea. The ambience is remarkable—a true oasis with healthy plants adorning every corner and natural timber furniture and décor. It is so unreal to be in such a calming environment amidst the hustle of city life. I highly recommend BunMe for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and great value for money food.
